Verify Your Provider — Your Safety Matters

North Carolina law requires all for-hire transportation providers to carry NC For Hire Plates and a minimum of $1.5 Million CSL (Combined Single Limit) Insurance. This protects you and your family in the event of an accident.

Unfortunately, some providers in the High Country area operate without proper licensing or insurance. While they may offer lower prices, if something goes wrong — you will not be covered.

Ashe County Livery is fully licensed and insured. We carry the required For Hire Plates, maintain $1.5 Million CSL insurance, and keep our entire fleet professionally inspected and maintained. Always ask your provider to show their plates and proof of insurance before you ride.

    What is your cancellation policy?
    We understand plans change. We ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations. This allows us to adjust our schedule and potentially accommodate other travelers. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
    How does flight tracking work?
    Once you book, we monitor your flight in real time from departure to landing. If your flight is delayed 30 minutes or 3 hours, we automatically adjust your pickup time — no extra charge. You don't need to call us; we'll be there when you land.
    What if my flight arrives very early or very late?
    We operate 24/7 with no add-on fees for early or late travel. A 4 AM pickup costs the same as a 2 PM pickup. Your quoted price is your final price.
    Do you do curbside or inside pickup at the airport?
    All quotes are based on curbside pickup, the most efficient option. Once your flight lands and you have luggage, you notify us that you're heading to the Lower Level pickup area, and we arrive within 3–4 minutes. Inside pickup is available for guests who need assistance with heavy luggage, wheelchair, walker, or other special needs — just let us know when booking.
    How many passengers can you accommodate?
    Our fleet handles 1 to 14 passengers in a single vehicle. For larger groups, we can dispatch multiple vehicles to accommodate any party size. Every vehicle has ample space for luggage, ski gear, and other travel necessities.
    What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle. If you'd like to tip your driver but don't have cash, our drivers accept digital payments as well.
    Do you have child/booster seats?
    Yes, we can provide child seats and booster seats upon request. Please mention this when booking so we can have the appropriate seat ready for your trip.
